We make society work for people on the road, on tracks, in the air, and at sea.

Our mission is important and has significance in everyday life – both for individuals and businesses. With us, we take responsibility, treat everyone well, and respect differences. As an employee, you contribute to a sustainable future.

About the job

Do you want to work at the intersection of operations, IT, and societal benefit? We are now looking for more engaged business developers who want to help shape the future of data and information management in the road traffic area.

Within Vehicle Information, we are primarily responsible for providing vehicle information as well as managing and administering vehicles. The assignment includes the development of both systems and processes for sharing vehicle information – internally, nationally, and internationally – as well as for ownership transfers, ownership relationships, and the vehicle's traffic status.

You will work in a cross-functional context together with product owners, business developers, system administrators, business specialists, and IT teams, where collaboration and a holistic perspective are central parts of everyday life.

As a business developer within Vehicle Information, you will play a key role in capturing the needs and requirements of the business and translating them into effective processes, appropriate system support, and sustainable solutions. You will closely collaborate with our IT teams and architects to ensure that we develop the right solutions, in the right way. The position is on the business side.

With us, you are important

Do you enjoy working together with others and want to develop in your professional role? We are a secure employer who cares about your health with time for wellness during working hours, flexible working hours, a generous number of vacation days, and days off around holidays.

You will

  • be responsible for process mapping, conduct business analyses, and identify development needs
  • manage and further develop the product's main processes
  • drive business development within the product by analyzing needs, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing solutions where IT and process development are combined for increased efficiency
  • drive development work forward, for example, by leading workshops and working in cross-functional teams in close collaboration with other parts of the authority
  • work proactively through environmental monitoring and dialogue with internal and external stakeholders
  • produce analyses and write needs and decision documents.

You must have

  • relevant academic education, or work experience that the employer assesses as equivalent
  • experience in documenting and structuring business processes, concepts, rules, and information models
  • experience in leading and driving feasibility studies, workshops, or projects
  • good ability to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing as the work requires the ability to write analyses, decision documents, and reports
  • experience in business development with connections to IT support and collaboration with IT teams.

It is meritorious if you also have

  • experience working with clear goals and following up on decisions and deliveries
  • experience in change management
  • experience working with agile methods
  • experience in IT system management
  • experience working with large amounts of information, internally, externally, and internationally.

We want you to

  • be driven, engaged, curious, and have a forward-leaning work approach
  • be creative, solution-oriented, and think outside the box
  • be self-sufficient, take responsibility, and have the ability to see the big picture
  • have good communication skills, be attentive, and adapt to the audience and situation
  • have good collaboration skills and share your knowledge
  • have analytical and problem-solving abilities and thrive with complex issues.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
